L-Citrulline
An amino acid and nitric oxide precursor — the best-developed circulation research on this panel.
A precursor to nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels. Of the six blend ingredients this has the most developed circulation research behind it.
Understanding L-Citrulline In AlphaRock
L-citrulline is a non-essential amino acid, found naturally in watermelon among other foods. The body converts it to arginine, which in turn is the direct precursor to nitric oxide — a signalling molecule that tells the smooth muscle in blood vessel walls to relax, widening the vessel and easing blood flow.
Somewhat counter-intuitively, supplementing citrulline tends to raise blood arginine more reliably than supplementing arginine itself, because arginine is heavily metabolised in the gut and liver before reaching circulation. It is also generally better tolerated.
Why AlphaRock Includes L-Citrulline
Of the six ingredients inside the blend, this is the one with the most developed circulation research behind it, and its inclusion in a circulation-positioned formula is logical.
It is included within the 570 mg blend, with no individual amount published.
The Dose Question For L-Citrulline In AlphaRock
This is where honesty is required. Published citrulline research typically uses several grams per day — frequently in the range of 3 to 8 grams in circulation and exercise studies.
The entire blend here totals 570 mg shared across six ingredients. Even if citrulline were the largest component by some margin, the amount present is necessarily far below the levels that research used.
That does not make its inclusion pointless, but it does mean the published research cannot be mapped onto this capsule, and no guaranteed circulation effect is claimed anywhere on this site.
This AlphaRock ingredient sits inside the blend
Included within the 570 mg blend. That figure is the combined total across six ingredients, and the split between them is not published. No individual amount for this ingredient is stated anywhere, and none has been estimated here.
How to read the research behind the AlphaRock formula
The eight ingredients are genuine subjects of published nutritional research. L-citrulline has the most developed circulation literature of anything on the panel. L-carnitine has a substantial history in fatty-acid transport and energy metabolism. Niacin's role in NAD production is textbook biochemistry. Zinc's involvement in hormone metabolism is well established.
None of that is evidence about this product. That research examines single ingredients at their own doses. No finished-product clinical trial on AlphaRock has been published, and no independent laboratory testing of the finished product was located.
The research is a reason to consider the formula. It is not a prediction of what the formula will do for you, particularly when six of the eight ingredients sit inside a blend that does not publish its own breakdown.
The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements publishes plain-language fact sheets on zinc, niacin and exercise-related supplements if you want to read the underlying material yourself. Their inclusion here does not indicate that any organisation named endorses, recommends or is affiliated with AlphaRock.

AlphaRock Safety Context
AlphaRock safety, and when to see a doctor instead
AlphaRock is a male performance support supplement for healthy adult men. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, cardiovascular disease, fatigue disorders or any other medical condition.
- Not for anyone under 18, or for pregnant or nursing individuals.
- Consult a physician before use if you take medication or manage a medical condition — this is the label's own caution.
- Check your totals. Niacin here is 125% of the Daily Value and zinc is 11 mg. Both stack with a multivitamin or B-complex, so add them up before assuming you are within a reasonable range. High niacin intakes can cause flushing, and sustained high-dose zinc can interfere with copper absorption.
- Storage: below 30 °C in a cool, dry place. Do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
- California buyers should check the product label for any applicable Proposition 65 warning.
Some things deserve an appointment rather than a capsule. Persistent fatigue, circulation symptoms, mood changes or hormone-related concerns are each worth proper evaluation in their own right. Thyroid problems, sleep disorders, depression, low testosterone and cardiovascular issues are all treatable once identified, and reaching for a daily supplement instead of that evaluation delays finding out.
